Our business model is based on more than 20 years of private practice and achieving orthopedic wellness for our patients. We’ve created a successful business that will allow our franchisees the ability to build a unique and rewarding practice with a cash-based revenue stream.
Orthopedic Wellness is the prevention, maintenance and treatment of compromise to the health of the musculoskeletal system. Any period of time that the body is subjected to improper mechanics, compensations will start to occur. No matter who you are or what you do, you want your eyes and ears to be level. We call this a “Neutral Horizon”.
Through analysis of posture and functional movement, structural imbalances can be identified. Often, if caught early, these imbalances are not yet producing significant symptoms. However, the presences of focal adhesion formation in the soft tissue has already impacted functional movement and has increased stress on the joints.
“An Ounce of Prevention is Worth a Pound of Cure”
The term Tensegrity is used to describe a balance of compression and tension elements. If balance is disrupted, pain and injury are not far behind. Often, symptoms are eliminated without much attention to the site of pain. This is by treating the underlying source of structural compromise.
Wellness is a lifelong process. At (se)®, we create long lasting relationships with our patients and keep them active in the activities that bring them joy.
As you may already know, the wellness industry is an area of tremendous growth as our population looks to stay active throughout their life. Here are some interesting statistics:
- In a report released jointly by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, researchers found that 59 million Americans sought out some type of alternative therapy.
- In 2016, analysts reported that the global wellness economy reached $3.7 trillion and growth is expected to accelerate by 17% in the next five years.
- Demand for physical therapists is projected to grow 34 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations. This comes from the aging baby boomers, who are staying active later in life.
Why We're Unique
Cash Based Business Model
We have a cash based model which means clients pay us directly for services. Removing the restrictions in health insurance reimbursement, we are able to perform treatment techniques that go beyond the site of the acute injury and are best for the clients overall wellness and performance. Our proprietary approach stands true to it’s results based method, helping our clients reach their wellness potential with the time their body needs to achieve optimal functioning - avoiding limitations in prescribed treatments. This gives our therapists the freedom to treat the whole body, use any appropriate technique and treat until our patients goals are achieved, while ensuring payment for those services.
Results That Speak for Themselves
Structural Elements® clients come to us for injury rehabilitation, chronic pain relief, and overall wellness needs. Our results have allowed our clients to lead more active, pain free lives to reach their PB (Personal Best) in everyday activities, recreation, and endurance sports.
I have NEVER been able to find permanent relief to my hip/SI and shoulder pain before beginning treatment with Doug at Structural Elements®. Having background in physical therapy myself, I am of the same mindset that we must find the root cause of the imbalances and not just where today's pain happens to be. Doug and the entire SE staff do just that! I will be a lifer at SE for all my future structural treatments and maintenance! ~Tiffany O’Reilly
